Happy New Year everyone! We are a few weeks into 2019, and by now people are slowly giving up on their resolutions. A lot times, the new year’s resolutions we set for ourselves are not always the most obtainable goals. Honestly, we are kind our setting ourselves up for failure in a way. This year, we at Morgan Financial thought we might encourage you to rethink your resolutions. Here are a few resolutions that you might actually want to keep this year.
Being kind to others.
This one doesn’t cost you a thing. Unlike that gym membership you are now probably canceling, being kind to other people doesn’t cost a dang thing. In moments when you have a choice between doing the harsh thing or the kind thing, always choose the kind.
Taking care of our planet.
We live our whole lives here, so why not take the time to actually look after it? Quit using so much plastic. Remember your reusable bags when you head into Target. Remember to take the time to sort out your recycling and make sure your recycling the correct things. Clean up after yourself. Take an afternoon, get a group of people together and go clean up a park, a beach or even a road. Make it fun! Show our earth how much we love it!
Put more good into the world than bad.
This year, let’s all make a conscious decision to put more good into the world than bad.
Taking time for yourself.
Taking an hour or so a day to make sure that you give yourself a little TLC is not selfish. It is a necessity. So, take time once a day to really give yourself some care! That could mean going to a yoga class, for a run, or just having a little reading time. We all live busy lives, but it is important that we take some time, when we can, to make sure that we are still taking care of ourselves.
We hope your 2019 is off to an amazing start. If by chance one of your new year’s resolutions was to finally purchase the home of your dreams, we would love to talk with you today! Give us at Morgan Financial a call. Want the best deal on your mortgage? Check out our Best Deal Guarantee today!
