Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County, Inc.(HFHBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been “helping families have a successful future by providing affordable housing to hard-working, local families and individuals” (Home , n.d.). In 2017-2018, they will build 7 homes for 7 Brevard County families who cannot qualify for a conventional mortgage.

“Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope” (Home , n.d.). They have served 347 families in 31 years and proudly serve veterans in the community. Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County believes that the ability to provide safe and affordable homes to those in need in Brevard County is a direct result of their volunteers and donors. Morgan Financial couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of something so special.

For the last two years, Morgan Financial has sponsored the Habitat for Humanity of Brevard’s “If I had a hammer”, Builders Society Luncheon. Our COO, Joe Harris, is an active member of the Brevard Habitat Board. This year, in addition to sponsoring Habitat for Humanity’s Sunset in Tuscany, we are pleased to announce that we are teaming up with local businesses in our industry to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity build. This will be the first Brevard Builds sponsored by our industry. Each business has their own goal of $5000.00 to go toward a future build for a deserving family right here in Brevard County.

Our “Why” and one of our core values at Morgan Financial is to give more than we take. Our volunteer team, MF Cares, takes part in community events and fundraisers throughout the year. In February, we joined the Brevard Heart Walk to raise funds for the American Heart Association. Currently, we are fundraising for the Brevard Build by partnering with local businesses in Brevard County.
